Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Introduction
Intania Production House ("we", "us", or "our") operates the IPH Photobooth desktop application and the website at photobooth.cuiph.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle, why, and what we do not do with it.
It covers three separate things, which are described separately below: the desktop application itself, the optional Google Drive integration, and the optional account you create on our website to license and download the software.
The desktop application
All photos, collages, frames, and media produced with IPH Photobooth are captured, processed, and stored entirely on your own computer. The application does not collect:
- Analytics, telemetry, or usage data
- Device, hardware, or location data
- Advertising or tracking identifiers
- Your photos or any media created with the application
We operate no server that receives your photos. Nothing you capture is transmitted to us at any point, and we have no ability to view it.
Google Drive integration
IPH Photobooth can connect to your Google Drive so that event photos are backed up and shareable. This is entirely optional — the application is fully usable without signing in to Google.
What we access, and why
When you sign in with Google, the application requests access to your Google Drive in order to:
- List your existing folders and shared drives, so you can choose where photos are uploaded
- Create folders to organise each event
- Upload the photos and collages you have captured
- Generate a shareable link so your guests can access their photos
- Delete folders and files that the application itself created, when you ask it to
Every one of these actions is initiated by you and affects only the Google account you signed in with. The application requires broad Drive access because the folder picker has to show you folders and shared drives that already exist in your Drive — access limited to app-created files cannot list them. The application does not open, read, download, index, or analyse the contents of your other Drive files.
We also request your Google account name, email address, and profile picture. These are used only to show you which account is currently signed in.
Where your data goes
Photos are uploaded directly from your computer to your Google Drive. They are not routed through, copied to, or stored on any server we operate. Your Google credentials are never seen by us: sign-in happens in your browser with Google, and the resulting access token is stored only in your local Windows user profile.
Limited Use
IPH Photobooth's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, use it for advertising or to build user profiles, sell it, or allow humans to read it — except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the application, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a security investigation, and in each case only with your explicit consent where required.
Revoking access
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time by signing out inside the application, which deletes the stored token from your computer. You can also revoke access independently at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Files already uploaded remain in your Drive and are yours to keep or delete.
Website accounts and billing
To download licensed builds you create an account on photobooth.cuiph.com. For this we collect your name, email address, and a password, which is stored only in hashed form. During registration we email a one-time verification code to confirm the address; these codes expire shortly after being issued. We use your email address for account and transactional messages only — never for marketing.
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered with Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on our systems; we retain only the subscription status and billing records needed to run your licence.
This account is separate from the Google Drive integration. Signing in to Google inside the application does not create a website account, and no Google user data is sent to our account systems.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to operate the website and its accounts: Fly.io and Google Cloud Firestore for hosting and account storage, Amazon SES for verification emails, Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare for DNS. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Retention and deletion
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below, and we will remove it other than records we are required to retain for tax or accounting purposes. Google OAuth tokens live only on your own computer and are removed when you sign out.
Children's Privacy
IPH Photobooth is a professional tool sold to event operators and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
