QR Code Sharing

Upload photos to Google Drive and generate a QR code so guests can download their photos instantly — no app required. The perfect way to share memories at any event.

Required before sharing: You must connect your Google account in Settings and have at least one photo captured in the current session.

How QR Sharing Works

The QR sharing feature lets guests instantly access their photos without installing any app:

Upload to Google Drive

Photos from the current session are uploaded to your Google Drive account

Generate QR Code

A unique QR code is created with the Google Drive folder link

Guests Scan & Download

Guests scan with their phone camera to open the folder and download photos

Setting Up Google Drive

Before you can share photos, connect your Google account:

    Open Settings

    Click the settings icon in the top-right corner of the app

    Go to Integrations

    Navigate to the Integrations section

  3. 3

    Connect Google

    Click 'Connect Google Drive' and sign in to your Google account

  4. 4

    Grant Permissions

    Allow the app to access your Google Drive for file uploads

Privacy Note: Photos are uploaded to your personal Google Drive. You retain full control and can delete them at any time. Guests only receive a link to view/download.

Uploading Photos

Step 1: Open the QR Sidebar

Click the QR code icon in the right sidebar to open the sharing panel.

Step 2: Choose a Destination Folder

Select where to upload photos on your Google Drive:

  • Existing folder: Browse your Google Drive and select a folder
  • New folder: Create a new folder (auto-named with event date)

Step 3: Upload Photos

Click the upload button to begin uploading all photos from the current session:

  • Progress bar shows upload status
  • Uploads happen in the background — you can continue taking photos
  • A notification appears when upload completes

Using the QR Code

Once photos are uploaded, a QR code is automatically generated:

Guest Experience

Guests can scan the QR code with any smartphone:

  1. 1Open phone camera app (no special QR scanner needed)
  2. 2Point camera at QR code
  3. 3Tap the Google Drive link that appears
  4. 4View and download photos directly to their device

Tips for Successful Sharing

Test Upload First

Do a test upload before your event to verify Google Drive connection

Good Lighting

Ensure the QR code is well-lit and easy to scan

Large QR Display

Use Guest Display for a larger, easier-to-scan QR code

Folder Organization

Create separate folders per event/session for better organization
